Took long enough but someone has finally submitted an initiative to strike from the constitution of California that marriage is solely between a man and a woman.
The initiative is currently sitting at the Attorney General's desk and is expected to hit the Secretary of State's desk sometime in the beginning of March. here is the proposed article that is to be striken from the constituion:
Section 7.5 Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California.
