Armenia and Turkey have received FIFA's Fair Play Award of 2008 for the way they treated the game they had against each other this past year.
When Armenia and Turkey played each other last year, both countries took it as an opportunity to extend a white pole and try and talk with each other. Unfortunately Turkey won the game 2-0, but the real victory was that even though the game took place in Armenia, very little hostility occured.
