Last up in the first semi-final is Ukraine!

Ukraine has usually sent strong representatives to the Eurovision song contest. Since it's debut in 2003 it has won the contest in 2004, came second in both 2007 and 2008 and last year received 3rd place. This year they're sending Marija Yaremchuk who is a relative newcomer to the music scene. This will likely be Marija's biggest competition setting ever so it'll be fun to see how she performs.

Marija is going to be singing a song called 'Tick-tock' which in typical Ukrainian fashion is fun to listen to and makes you want to dance. The lyrics themselves aren't perfect, but they rarely are when it comes to Ukraine. Considering their past I'm excited to see their performance at the contest. I expect them to finish in the top 10 with a very strong finish as usual for them.
