With the start of April we move onto Latvia, our next country in the first semi-final.

Latvia seems to be in a dry spell with not having any act go to the final since 2008 when they sent the Pirates of the sea to sing about the Wolves of the sea. And to continue in their tradition of crazy songs Latvia is sending Aarzemnieki who is singing about baking a cake!

The song titled 'Cake to Bake' is about having done everything in the world so he's going to devote a day to baking a cake. The song is kinda ridiculous, and by kinda I mean very very ridiculous. The vocals aren't very good and the song itself is just ridiculous. Although I don't expect it to make it past the semi-finals it'll be fun to see Aarzemnieki perform on stage and watch Latvia poke fun at Eurovision for another year running.
