I'm back home! I love the UK and I'm so excited to be back. One day I hope to move here, but we'll see how it all turns out. One day at a time. In honor to her majesty and to this wonderful country I'll review Engelbert today.
The folk song award goes to UK. It's kind of weird seeing the UK sing a folk song, but it is so touching. And Engelbert destroys it. His voice is so powerful and never flawed. He is definitely going to go very far if he sings this perfectly during the finals. This song is just amazing. It's hard to say anything negative about it, because there is almost nothing negative to say. It will be on repeat for a little while, trust.
Performer: Engelbert Humperdinck
Song title: Love Will Set You Free
Song writer(s): Martin Terefe & Sacha Skarbek
Song composer(s): Martin Terefe & Sacha Skarbek
So graceful and pure
A smile bathed in light
No matter the distance
A miracle of sight
Though I should have known
I could not turn away
When faced with your beauty
No reason can stay
As you kiss him in the moonlight
With heavy words I say
If you love someone
Follow your heart
'Cause love comes once
If you're lucky enough
Though I'll miss you forever
The hurt will run deep
Only love can set you free
Trust in your dreams
Run with no fear
And if you should stumble
Remember I'm near
As a ghost I will walk
I'll look deep in my soul
I might find another
You gave me that hope
So as you kiss him in the moonlight
With heavy words I say
If you love someone
Follow your heart
'Cause love comes once
If you're lucky enough
Though I'll miss you forever
And the hurt will run deep
Only love can set you free
And if you love someone
Follow your heart
'Cause love comes once
If you're lucky enough
Though I'll miss you forever
The hurt will run deep
Love will set you free
