The Cali Garmo

Slovenia this year seems to be going for the crazy hat theme. I still don't know what those hats are supposed to be. They look like a solar system being formed or something. For these crazy hats Slovenia wins the crazy hat award.

If you were to take away the hats you would begin to hear a fairly good song. The song is not traditionally fast and doesn't quite qualify as a ballad. Eva's voice is not strong enough to make this song into a ballad like it probably should be. Although this song is not the best in this competition, it just doesn't pull me in with anything. It seems too safe of a song. And as most safe songs go, this will also fail.
