And the ego award goes to Latvia! This song is all about this song. Oddly enough the song is actually kind of beautiful. I wonder if Paul McCartney will ever want to work with her. I guess only if she actually wrote this song, oh wait, but she didn't. Also, what is up with the awkward dancers in the background? Could she have at least chosen good dancers for her beautiful song? It kind of killed it. Also, I'm pretty sure Johnny Logan might be embarrased that you were born the year he won Eurovision in 1980. His voice completely out does yours and I'm pretty sure he hit notes you couldn't. I'd say his song was more beautiful. But who knows Latvia, maybe the world will look away from the ego and they lyrics and focus on the beat, at which point you will also lose. This song goes against most of the normalcy in Europe. I doubt it will pass through to the finals unfortunately, but good luck to Latvia anyway.
Performer: Anmary
Song title: Beautiful Song
Song writer(s): Rolands Ūdris
Song composer(s): Ivars Makstnieks
I was born in distant nineteen-eighty
The year that Irish Johnny Logan won
Thirty years ago, they still remember
So dream away
Today's the day
I'm singing out my song
When I join this grand parade of winners
And we've made this song a worldwide hit
I will buy oh my own mike to sing in
And all the jobs I've had before I'm surely gonna quit
Beautiful song is on the radio, is in the tv shows and so on and on
Beautiful song that everybody hums and everybody loves
My Mom said I'd grow up to be a singer
And Daddy smiled when gave me my guitar
I do my best, and I'll be so much better
Brightest of the highest and the farthest of the stars
And on that day when Sir Mick Jagger phones me
Tell him, please, that I am very busy
Writing brand new songs with Paul McCartney
So sorry Mick, I'll call you back, someday I'll call you back...
Beautiful song is on the radio, is in the tv shows and so on and on
Beautiful song that everybody hums and everybody loves
