Hello Belgium! I've just arrived for Gay Pride and I'm so excited to be here! I hope Brussels knows how to show a Californian a good time. In honor of my arrival, today I'll be looking at Belgium's entry into this year's Eurovision.

Belgium unfortunately gets the desperation award. Iris seems so desperate to get this guy she is singing about. Maybe if she could sing properly he wouldn't have left you. I really don't like her voice and the song is not catch, fun and happy. Europe has traditionally not liked songs like this. We want to feel happy and excited or very deeply emotional. This song tries to do both and fails dramatically. Sorry Belgium, but I don't expect you to pass through to the finals.

Performer: Iris
Song title: Would You?

Come and find me
I've been hiding from you
Come and get me
Running from you

It's been easy
Easy for you
To believe me
When I say I love you

But what would you do when my house was empty?
My life in a bag and away from you
You took my love for granted would you really miss me?
Any other GUY would do, but would you?

It's a secret
And a question for you
Where I'm at now
What are you gonna do?

If you run here
And look for me now
Are we done here?
Or starting somehow?

But what would you do when my house was empty
My life in a bag and away from you
You took my love for granted would you really miss me?
Any other GUY would do, but would you? Would you?

It's a twoway street and I know that
But don't look back
Still I wonder, still I wonder…

What would you do when my house was empty?
My life in a bag just to be with you
But when I'm at your door will you say you missed me
Any other GUY would do, yeah any other GUY would do, but would you?

Would you?
